Knowing that God...

I just finish doing a study on Psalm 18. You first see this song written in 2 Samuel 22 “David’s song of Deliverance” We learn the details of how God has delivered David from his enemy Saul. With that information David gives us in both these accounts we can truly know that God is available for us even today in our battles, our struggles, our darkness. Knowing that God is my Refuge, my Rock, my Shield, my Strength, my very Hiding Place, my help in times of trouble. He brings me out of darkness He places me on solid high ground. He is my joy, my peace, my comfort. What is my response to Him? To acknowledge to God that: He is worthy of my love. He is worthy of my obedience. He is worthy of my praise. I will praise Him both in words and songs and deeds.
